UCF's Styleorologist-- Fashion on the 9's

Style on the 9’s is a fashion blog based on the weather patterns at UCF’s main campus in Orlando, FL. In lieu of Florida’s bipolar weather patterns, I will give recommendations (with pics!) on what to wear, when to bring a sweater and/or umbrella and when to skip class and lay out by the reflection pond. I love fashion but even more I admire many styles of UCF students. Warning to fashionistas: I may stop you on campus and post a pic of your outfit on here when the weather calls for it.

Q: Define Bipolar

A: When Florida is perfectly sunny with clear skies one day and shitty with a splash of rain the next.

Weather: T-storms in the afternoon. High 86. Muggy. Cloudy. Not a day for jeans.

Recommendations: An umbrella! Lightweight clothing so the humidity doesn't suffocate you and a flowy dress to go with the breeze. Today may not be a day for a blazer or bright colors, but hey, who says you can't be fashionable during a **hurricane?

**no hurricane today, just sarcasm.

Don't be Janis.

Janis came across 3 situations because she was not prepared for the day:

A: Still in bed, it looks sunny out so Janis wears shorts to class. After class she gets caught in a monsoon with no umbrella and her flats are drenched.

B: It looks cold out. Yup 62 degrees out at 9AM so Janis wears jeans and a sweater. Four hours later, still on campus, Janis is sweating her ass off because Florida decided to be 85 degrees.

C: Oh wow it's a calm day so Janis wants to wear her new dress! Two hours later, the whole college of business sees her wahoo outside of Einstein's due to the random 20mph gusts.

ohhh Janis, if only you followed the Styleorologist.
