The Event, which was recently recognized as one of the top 10 Chocolate Festivals in the country, will be showcasing its second Cocoa Couture Fashion Show April 27th 2012 at the UCF Arena. The Show will feature 15 up and coming designers who will sketch, sew, stitch and eat their way into their cocoa-themed creation.

So mark you calendars! The Event is on April 27th 4pm - 10pm, and the Fashion Show begins at 8pm.

Prices: The pre-sale tickets that you can purchase at www.orlando.festivalofchocolate.com are 15 dollars and the tickets at the door are 17! For kids its 9 dollar pre-sale and 11 at the door.

The Creations:

The Gold dress was made by Alexandra Lin. For her two piece design Alex chose Milka chocolate because of its very large gold wrappers.  Milka is a Swiss chocolate and is the Hershey Bar of Europe. The two piece outfit, boots and hat are made from 122 carefully unwrapped whole wrappers which are all hand stitched. The dress took her about 50 hours. Her inspiration for the dress came from a James bond movie.

The Reeses dress was made by Andrea Omboni. This beautiful dress was made from reese cups and reese "mnms". Andrea made her reese "mnms" out of ceramic, so her chocolate would not melt. The bottom of her dress was made of reese cups that varied in size. This dress won Judge Favorite and Fan Favorite.
